Sociology Student Going to D.C.

Christina Beslin

Sociology graduate Chirstina Beslin was chosen for a 10 week internship in Washington, DC with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Conflict Prevention and Resolution Center. This internship will allow her the opportunity to combine her studies, her experience in alternative dispute resolution and her passion for environmental matters. Beslin says, “It is a dream opportunity for me and I am very excited.” Ms. Beslin graduated this past spring with a B.S. in Sociology with a concentration in Environmental Sustainability. In addition to her studies she works for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit as a mediator and also work for The Center for Sustainability here at Georgia Southern University. This fall Ms. Beslin plans to pursue a Masters of Public Health focusing on environmental health here at Georgia Southern (if I am accepted into the program).

Congratulations Christina and keep up the excellent work!
