Dr. Cassandra L. Baldwin earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and her PhD in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Texas A&M University. Her primary research interests include self-control, motivation, emotion, and emotion regulation. She is also interested in empathy and reward valuation. One line of her research examines how exerting effort and self-control influence decision-making and cognitive processes. Other lines of research examine perceptions of effort and biological correlates of emotion regulation.
