Charles Bowen is a Lieutenant and Training Coordinator for the Georgia Southern University Police Department. He graduated from Georgia Southern with his undergraduate degree in 2009 and has spent over 13 years in law enforcement. Being state-certified to teach general law enforcement topics, firearms, use of force, tactical medical, speed detection, and defensive tactics he regularly instructs at the regional police academy as well as at other area agencies. His primary focus currently in his instruction deals with community policing, cultural awareness, and internal biases.
