CJ&C Advisor Kimberly Simpson Wins National Award
Kimberly Simpson, the CLASS Advisor for the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, has been awarded a 2014 Certificate of Merit of the Outstanding Advising Award – Primary Advising Role. Established in 1983, the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Annual Awards Program for Academic Advising honors individuals and institutions making significant contributions to the improvement of academic advising. NACADA is a representative and advocate of academic advising and those providing that service to higher education. The prestigious award will be presented at the NACADA national conference in Minneapolis in October.
