Mock Mediation Club Tallies Eight Awards at Regional Tournament

The Georgia Southern University Mock Mediation Club received eight awards after two days of competition at the Regional Mediation Tournament in Gainesville, Ga.

The Mock Mediation Club received four top-20 advocate awards, 2 top-10 individual mediator awards, a top-6 team in the advocate/client team category award, and a top-6 team in the mediation team category award.

The tournament hosted its largest field in its 13-year history and was hosted by Brenau University.

Across the board, Georgia Southern Mock Mediation Club ranked in both advocacy and mediation.

The student-led organization has received nearly 50 awards since its founding in the fall of 2013.

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is the largest of the eight colleges that make up Georgia Southern University, and it plays a central role in every student’s core of knowledge.
