Jennifer Wertalik received her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Psychology/Biology from Long Island University (Southampton College) and her master’s degree in applied behavior analysis with a concentration in autism spectrum disorder from Ball State University. She then received her doctoral degree in special education from The Pennsylvania State University. Jennifer’s research focuses on evidence-based instruction for individuals with autism and severe disabilities. She is specifically interested in investigating use of video-based instruction to promote fluency and automaticity of daily living skills (e.g., personal care tasks, domestic tasks, vocational tasks) in order to improve long-term outcomes and the quality of life for this population.
